

The BoS went up against Super Mutants, robots, ghouls, Beast Lords (guys with psychic control over animals), death claws, normal old raiders. But, an alternate universe in which you play a member of one of the many resistance faction would be extremely fun. In Fallout Tactics, the player takes on the role of a fresh recruit, recently conscripted from his tribal village. In short, they were not the technologically superior liberators they were seen as in Fallout 3, they were well armed conquerors and borderline fascists. They did so by pressing tribals into their service, exchanging protection for soldiers, and crushing anyone that didn't agree with their point of view. Fallout Tactics revolved around the Brotherhood (BoS) trying to extend their military domination outward from Chicago and into the surrounding Midwestern United States.
